Alums Lim (1980) and Ang (1986) receive awards from the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology

We congratulate our alumni Dr. Ruben Lim Bon Sion (Batch 1980) and Dr. Robert Edward Ang (Batch 1986) for receiving awards from the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology during its annual convention on 27 November 2021.

Dr. Lim was awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award while Dr. Ang was given the Dr. Geminiano de Ocampo Outstanding Researcher in Ophthalmology Award for his research “Implantation of Small Aperture IOL in Post-Refractive Surgery Eyes” presented during the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in July 2021.
